GSB Web Application

PHP / CodeIgniter / MySQL

This is my BTS SIO SLAM web project, developed in a team of 4 (2 developers and 2 network administrators).

Our goal was to build a web application to manage expense reports for a fictional pharmaceutical company, GSB.

In the first year, we built the application's core features using PHP and a MySQL database.

In the second year, we ported the project to the CodeIgniter framework, to adopt an MVC architecture.

Security

We then secured the application:

  • Setting up a logging system
  • Adding an access token, regularly checked to prevent session hijacking
  • Password hashing
  • Protection against various vulnerabilities
